Final Deliverable Changelog (7/10/2025)

  • New Enemy: Introduced the Vampire enemy with directional attacks.
  • New Level: Added a Shadow Maze with puzzles and backtracking objectives.
  • New Traps: Implemented Spike Traps and EyeBall Spawners.
  • Gameplay: Added final room challenges and a tutorial for the Shadow Maze.
  • Easy Mode: Implemented player death and respawn animations.

 Gameplay & Balancing

  • Added a cooldown to the character's attack.
  • Fireballs can now damage the player.
  • Adjusted trap damage and set initial character health.
  • Players no longer take damage when health is zero or below.

Audio

  • Music: Added a new adventure theme.
  • Sound Effects: Implemented a wide range of sound effects for player actions (attacking, getting hit, healing), interactions (coin pickups, buying upgrades), and level events (objective triggers).

Fixes & Improvements

  • UI: Fixed HUD scaling to ensure text is consistent across different screen sizes.
  • Visuals: Improved shadow rendering and added more light sources (candles) to the maze.

Shop: Added a prompt to close the shop interface.
