Final Deliverable Changelog (7/10/2025)
- New Enemy: Introduced the Vampire enemy with directional attacks.
- New Level: Added a Shadow Maze with puzzles and backtracking objectives.
- New Traps: Implemented Spike Traps and EyeBall Spawners.
- Gameplay: Added final room challenges and a tutorial for the Shadow Maze.
- Easy Mode: Implemented player death and respawn animations.
Gameplay & Balancing
- Added a cooldown to the character's attack.
- Fireballs can now damage the player.
- Adjusted trap damage and set initial character health.
- Players no longer take damage when health is zero or below.
Audio
- Music: Added a new adventure theme.
- Sound Effects: Implemented a wide range of sound effects for player actions (attacking, getting hit, healing), interactions (coin pickups, buying upgrades), and level events (objective triggers).
Fixes & Improvements
- UI: Fixed HUD scaling to ensure text is consistent across different screen sizes.
- Visuals: Improved shadow rendering and added more light sources (candles) to the maze.
Shop: Added a prompt to close the shop interface.
